St Patrick’s Festival Weekend in Glasgow is set to be a huge celebration of all things Celtic. The festival will take place at Malones Irish bar and is proudly sponsored by Malones Triple Cask Irish Whiskey. For us Irish whiskey fans, or anyone who loves to celebrate Celtic culture, St Patrick’s day is kind of a big deal. And Irish pub Malones Glasgow are taking celebrations to the next level with St Patrick’s Festival Weekend. As the name suggests, the event will consist of a long weekend (from the 17th-20th of March) of energetic Paddy’s day shenanigans, including an epic street party, BBQ, pop-up bars and live music from Irish artists that are well-known on the Glasgow music scene. And let’s not forget, a barrel load of Malones Triple Cask Irish Whiskey.
Malones Edinburgh will also have live music from well-know Irish artists, culminating in a performance from incredible Irish band The Hootin’ Annies, who have toured globally with artists such as Shane Filan and UB40. Look out for the Irish themed drinks menu, featuring Malones Triple Cask Irish Whiskey.
At Malones Glasgow, the frivolities continue with a complete Malones Triple Cask Irish Whiskey takeover on Friday 18th March. We’ll be offering special offers on drinks containing our Irish whiskey, so make sure to come along and try some if you’re based in Glasgow. There’ll be plenty more live music and the street party will be in full swing as we head into the weekend. Super Saturday will feature all Six Nations finals live on massive screens. We may be supporting Ireland, but a little friendly rivalry is always welcome!
Malones Aberdeen is part of Shiprow Village's Big St Patrick's Festival, a whole week of epic events and fantastic craic. Malones will host live music every night of the festival, with a full day of class acts on St Patrick's day itself. On Tuesday the 15th there'll be a Father Ted themed pub quiz, and on Saturday all the Six Nations finals will be shown live. Shiprow Village is a group of small businesses along one of the oldest streets in Aberdeen, so it's well worth soaking up the collective Paddy's day atmosphere.
